Research Associate, The Alan Turing Institute
Ali is a Research Associate at the Turing, working in artificial intelligence (safe and ethical) under supervision of Adrian Weller, and is a visitor at CleverHans Lab, where he was a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Nicolas Papernot at Vector Institute before joining the Turing.
During his PhD, Ali undertook internships at Inria (with Aurélien Bellet and Emmanuel Vincent on the intersection of differential privacy and audio), as well as the Turing, and was a visitor at Imperial College London.
His latest work on building confidential and reliable auditing frameworks was awarded as a notable top 5\% accepted paper at ICLR 2023. Ali also serves as PC in top-tier conferences and journals such as ICML, CCS, AISTATS and TIFS. He has been involved in coordinating international effort in trustworthy ML, co-organised the FOCS’22 workshop on Privacy Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) and organised the AI UK 2023 fringe event on Privacy and Fairness in AI for Health.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
