Ann Borda

Ethics Fellow, The Alan Turing Institute

Dr Ann Borda is an Ethics Fellow within the Public Policy Programme at The Alan Turing Institute where she contributes to the advancement of the public understanding of responsible innovation, AI ethics and governance through evidence-informed practice and policy. Within her role, she supports sectoral engagement in the co-production of skills-based resources for the operationalisation of UK government’s official public sector guidance on AI ethics and safety, as well as engaging in wider collective participation to address societal and real-world challenges of AI and emerging technologies.

Prior to joining the Turing, Ana held senior positions in government-funded data-intensive initiatives in Australia and the UK. Ann is also a Principal Fellow in the Centre for Health Policy at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Information Studies at University College London.
