Chris leads the Science Directorate on Intelligent Data Ecosystems at Rothamsted Research, the world’s oldest agricultural research institution. In recent years he served as a High Level Forum panelist on Agricultural Open Data at the United Nations and an was invited speaker on Linked Open Data in Agriculture at the Meeting of the G20 Agricultural Chief Scientists (MACS-G20).
In 2019, his research team was awarded first prize for Outstanding Research Articles in Bio-surveillance by International Society for Disease Surveillance (ISDS) for developing an interoperable Malaria Surveillance Infrastructure. Also active in entrepreneurship, he was a mentee at the MIT Enterprise Forum.
What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
