Ellen Coughlan manages a programme of work at the Health Foundation seeking to improve analytical capability within health and social care.

This portfolio has awarded over £3.5m to sixty teams across the UK, seek to build capability by supporting analysts and improving demand for quality analysis.

Ellen is also an organiser at Data Science for Health Equity, an independent community that brings together experts, enthusiasts and hobbyists working at the intersection of data science and health inequalities to ensure that the latest research and innovations improve health equity.

Ellen’s background is in primary care, having led an analytics unit in one of the largest GP federations in the country.
