Turing AI Acceleration Fellow, The Alan Turing Institute
José Miguel is Professor of Machine Learning at the Department of Engineering in the University of Cambridge, UK. Before this, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Harvard Intelligent Probabilistic Systems group at Harvard University, working with Ryan Adams, and a postdoctoral research associate in the Machine Learning Group at the University of Cambridge (UK), working with Zoubin Ghahramani.
Jose Miguel completed his PhD and MPhil in Computer Science at the Computer Science Department in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he also obtained a BSc in Computer Science from this institution, with a special prize to the best academic record on graduation.
José Miguel’s research focuses on probabilistic machine learning, with a particular interest in deep generative models, Bayesian optimization, approximate inference, Bayesian neural networks and applications of these methods to the problem of automatic molecular design.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
