Representative, United Tech and Allied Workers (UTAW-CWU)
Matt Buckley is an ethical AI researcher and member of United Tech and Allied Workers, a branch of the Communication Workers Union. UTAW is run by tech workers, for tech workers, and as a member-led organisation seeks to represent their interests in the workplace and the wider tech industry.
Alongside other members of the CWU Matt has spoken as a representative of tech workers’ perspectives on AI at panels and events across the UK, as UTAW seeks to provide an informed and technical perspective on AI risk that puts workers first, independent of corporate conflicts of interest.
What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
