Rebecca Cosgriff

Head of Strategy: Data for R&D | NHS Transformation Directorate, NHS England and NHS Improvement

Prior to joining the team, Rebecca was Director of Data and Quality Improvement at the Cystic Fibrosis Trust where she implemented a new technology platform for the UK CF Registry, launched three integrated clinical trials as co-investigator, developed the Registry pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology programme, implemented national systematic collection of Patient Reported Outcomes, Experience measures as well as staffing data.

Rebecca is an elected member on the NHS England Specialised Respiratory Clinical Reference Group, leads the CF Registry Global Collaboration, with 22 member countries and four publications on COVID-19 in cystic fibrosis. Her previous experience includes clinical audit in NHS mental health, neurology and ophthalmology. Rebecca moved to University College London, where she managed the National Adult and Congenital Heart Surgery Registries. She worked with Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership to publish consultant-level outcomes derived from 13 national clinical audits and registries.
