Santhosh Narayanan

Research Associate, The Alan Turing Institute

Santhosh is focussed on building statistical models for real-time fraud detection in digital identity systems.

Previously, he graduated with a PhD in Statistics from the University of Warwick where he was supervised by Dr Ioannis Kosmidis and Professor Petros Dellaportas. His research was on applied stochastic processes, focussed on the development of multivariate point processes that are flexible enough to be applied to real-world problems. In his thesis, he developed a Bayesian modelling framework for such flexible processes and applied it to the modelling of event sequences from association football.
