Sara Bernardini

Professor, Royal Holloway, University of London

Sara Bernardini is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Royal Holloway University of London, the Principal Research Scientist in AI and Data Science at the National Oceanography Centre and a Senior Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. Before that, she held positions at King’s College London, University College London and NASA Ames Research Center.

Sara’s work focuses on automated planning for single- and multi-agent systems to enable them to act intelligently in the real world. Her papers appear regularly in prestigious international journals and world-class conference proceedings. She was the Associate General Chair of the 37th AAAI Conference in AI, and she is the Program Co-Chair of the 34th International Conference in Automated Planning and Scheduling. Sara is a member of the Executive Council of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence.
