Youmna is a Research Assistant at The Alan Turing Institute, where she is working across the AI for Public Services and Ethics and Responsible Innovation team to help shape the robust and responsible adoption of artificial intelligence in the public sector. Her current research explores how and where the public sector engages with emerging technologies, with the aim of developing governance and policy strategies that are responsive to the differential impacts AI is having across domains. Through her work, Youmna aims to ensure that alternative knowledges, perspectives, and voices
are represented in the study and practice of science and technology.
