Elke Schwarz is a Professor of Political Theory at Queen Mary University London. Her research explores the intersection of the ethics of war and technology, particularly focusing on unmanned, autonomous, and intelligent military technologies and their effects on the politics of contemporary warfare. She is the author of “Death Machines: The Ethics of Violent Technologies” (Manchester University Press) and has published widely on ethics, military Artificial Intelligence and autonomous weapons. She is Vice-Chair of the International Committee for Robot Arms Control (ICRAC), and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She was 2022/23 Fellow at the Centre for Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic Studies (CAPAS) in Heidelberg and 2024 Leverhulme Research Fellow.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
