Program Director, 1kD, Wellcome Leap
Holly Baines, PhD, is a Program Director at Wellcome Leap, a global ARPA for health. She leads a $50M program designed to bring together novel approaches in AI and engineering with neuroscience and developmental psychology to change the way we assess and promote healthy brain development in the first 1000 days of life. She has expertise in developing disruptive strategies and initiatives in the health and life sciences funding sector while at the Wellcome Trust. She has led the development and delivery of multi million pound programs and managed multi-disciplinary teams across a range of areas from mental health to data science. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience and Ageing from Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
