Senior Data Scientist, The Alan Turing Institute
Ian Groves is a researcher within the Defence AI Research (DARe) Centre at the Alan Turing Institute, and a member of the Institute on AI for Space Safety & Sustainability. His area of research lies within the Vulnerabilities & Deception theme, with a focus on Space Safety and Space Domain Awareness. Ian’s broader research interests in AI involve: Foundation Models, Multimodal learning, feature extraction, Physics-informed Neural Networks, and Biologically-inspired Machine learning.
Prior to working at the Turing, he completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Sheffield, applying Computer vision and feature extraction to complex biological datasets. Ian followed his PhD with a postdoc position investigating applying Physics-informed Neural Networks and Equation learning to complex biological tissues.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
