James Madeley

PhD student, Loughborough University

James is a final-year PhD student at Loughborough University. His research is focused on sustainable Internet routing protocols for reducing routing table size. In 2024, James was awarded an Internet Society Pulse Research Fellowship where he delivered a system for measuring global Internet traffic locality. His PhD thesis will be submitted at the end of March and he is looking for roles in academia or industry, ideally continuing his contributions to sustainable computing.
