Doctoral Researcher, The Alan Turing Institute
Skyler is part of the Applied Skills team at the Alan Turing Institute, helping to develop the technical and professional skills in data science and AI needed to meet the UK’s growing industrial and societal demands.
He recently completed the PhD Enrichment Programme at the Turing Institute, where his research focused on quantitative economics. His work combines economic theory with econometrics and data science to study economic incentives, resource allocation efficiency, and economic growth and volatility.
Skyler has worked with public sector organisations (e.g. the Department for Transport), FTSE-listed companies (e.g. Johnson Matthey), and the financial services sector (e.g. Mastercard) to develop quantitative strategies and apply innovative data science methods to address complex industrial challenges.
What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
