Stacie is the Head of Strategic Growth and Department for Data Science and AI at the National Physical Laboratory. With over a decade of experience, she is an internationally recognised expert on the intersection of technology and policy, specialising in the technical standardisation of critical and emerging technologies. Prior to joining NPL, Stacie was Head of Digital Standards at the UK’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). Before joining DSIT, she was a consultant specialising in digital policy and cyber security. Stacie has a passion for translating complex technical and policy issues for a wide variety of audiences and has worked with policymakers, global organisations, and leading experts from around the world. Stacie is an accomplished author and public speaker and was a regular news commentator in the UK and abroad, including on BBC World News.
What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
